Go Eat
Because we all love to eat.
- Bovine Bakery for coffee, pastries, and PIZZA
- Brickmaiden Breads for coffee, pastries, and lighter fare
- Side Street Cafe for a full breakfast or lunch
- Hog Island Oyster Co. (of course) for oysters with a view
- Marin French Cheese to check out their cheese shop and cafe
Go Into Town
Point Reyes Station is a quick 15 minutes south, and is full of quaint shops, eateries, and small-town charm. A few (non-food) highlights to check out:

- Point Reyes Books for good reads
Go Outdoors
In addition to the trail paths on the Marconi property, there are also a lot of hikes around the Point Reyes area! Check out this list for inspiration.
For some sightseeing a little further out, check out Point Reyes Shipwreck, the Lighthouse or Elephant Seal Overlook. If you’re lucky, you might see some seals basking in the sun!
Or if you’re feeling an adventure on the water, rent some kayaks for the morning.
Getting Here
For those flying in, we recommend San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland Airport (OAK). We recommend renting a car or carpooling, as there are limited public transportation and Uber options. From San Francisco, it’s about a 1.5-hour drive north to Tomales Bay.
Please note, the drive up after crossing the bridge has winding roads and limited cell service. Don’t forget to enjoy the views!
EV Charging: There aren’t any chargers available on-site, so please be sure to charge en route prior to getting off the 101 in San Rafael. (There is also a Supercharger south of Point Reyes Station.)
